WHY LAMINATED SNOWFLAKE DECOR?

I don’t know about you but I LOVE winter. You know how Lorelai can smell the snow coming in Gilmore Girls and then loves to stand outside staring at it? Me. That’s me.

There’s a few reasons I love using the laminator to create decor. The main reason is how reusable it makes it: the plastic makes it easily customizable but equally sturdy. 

Also – it’s super easy!

 

 

 

 

MATERIALS

 

 

 

 

 

STEP ONE 

Cut snowflakes out of your tissue paper. I did a variety of patterns and sizes to embrace the uniqueness of real snowflakes! 

STEP TWO

Place your snowflakes in a pattern you enjoy inside the laminator pouch. If you’re planning on using a frame, double check it will fit inside the frame! 

Tip: don’t forget you’re going to need a small border when you’re cutting it out. 

STEP THREE 

Laminate, cool and cut!

 

If you’re using a frame trace the frame using a sharpie – if there’s leftover sharpie you can easily rub it off (I used just a baby wipe!)
