ETHICAL CLOTHING BRAND REVIEW: EVERYDAY HUSTLE

EVERYDAY HUSTLE

AN ETHICAL CLOTHING BRAND REVIEW

PANTS GIFTED BY EVERYDAY HUSTLE BUT MY OPINIONS ARE ALL FACTUAL – IM SERIOUSLY OBSESSED

When I started the ethical clothing journey I knew I needed a hoodie, which I found. So what came next? I needed to find a comfortable as heck pair of pants that weren’t leggings. They needed to be basic, practical but also versatile – and that’s when I found Everyday Hustle.

WHO IS EVERYDAY HUSTLE?

It’s a company ran by two badass Canadian moms and that’s one of the many reasons I fell in love with them. Seriously – they work full-time jobs outside of this company, find time to raise kids and still manage to have this awesome company.

Every aspect of their company is based in good ol’ Ontario: fabric knit in Mississauga and Scarborough, fabric dyed in Ajax and clothing manufactured in Oshawa. I feel good being able to walk around in these pants and say they’re 100% Canadian.

Everyday Hustle believes in affordable, ethical clothing that should fit all bodies and those are two important aspects to shopping their clothes. Finding brands that believe all body types should be supported and actively display it in their promotions isn’t always as easy as it sounds. So the fact they’re both ethically Canadian and body positive is fantastic.

Like other brands I’ve chosen to support, Everyday Hustle believes in hiring workers that will be paid fair wages and work in proper work conditions.Even if this is a basic aspect to slow fashion companies I’m always going to point it out.

It’s hard to imagine buying clothes that were made by someone who getting paid pennies and working in horrible conditions in a foreign company – but that’s the reality of most of your wardrobe if you’re shopping fast fashion.

So, how much do I love these pants?

Listen, I don’t know if I can find the right words.

I’ll start with the important part:

THEY. HAVE. POCKETS!

You heard me. Comfortable pants with freakin’ pockets! Not some tiny little pockets either. Pockets that actually fit your hands or your phones.

My Essential Pants (that’s what these are called) are so comfortable. They’ve got that softness and thickness of a pant that you know is made with quality fabric.

The waistband on this pant is a huge selling point – and I don’t know if I’ll do justice trying to describe it. The thick band is versatile. Either keep it as a full panel that hugs your body or fold it over if that’s what’s comfortable and fits your outfit. When the panel is fully opened, it’s like a comfortable version of shapewear that you’ll want to wear. It slightly compresses and stays snug around your torso. Also means your pants don’t fall down and you don’t have to constantly pull them back up!

The bottoms of the pants are made in the same way. Keep them fully unrolled to wear as regular length pants, pull them up for some extra baggy legged goodness or roll the ankle panels up and transform them into capris!

I’m looking at purchasing these. What’s the sizing like? I’m generally a large, size 12(ish) or 32 jean. I think the size 4 but thought I’d ask first.
    Thanks for sharing your review!

      Hey there!

Sizing chart is accurate. I normally wear a size XL in leggings and wear a size 4 in their pants and jumpsuit. I think I wear a size 14 jean?
